Too bad about the harshness. I picked up a fiver a few weeks back and the ones I have smoked so far have had very little if any harshness. It makes we wonder if they are having trouble getting the consistency right with all of the fermenting that has to be done with these......just guessing. Anyway, I went ahead and got a box from Famous due to the fact that they are having a blowout sale on them right now. I will have to let you know how they turn out. I just came across your review.
