Lighter problems huh? Sound like you must be using a Zippo Blu. I have had mine in for repair 4 times. They can't get the thing fixed. I get a night strong flame for a few seconds and then the flame gets real short and sputters out. Then I have to let it sit for a while and sometimes it works again. I bought a Xikar Nautilus and it is amazing. Never fails might want to try one of them. This cigar is a great smoke and if I had the room I'd add a box to my stash. Great review keep them coming.

Just a great review man!

As I said on twitter, I really thought these would be a medium at best cigar - surprised to hear you call it full :) I also got shocked that you said the Sopranos was fuller than the LX2 - lol, I would smoke the Sopranos daily if I could afford it, but the LX2 is too strong for me to smoke much of =) Gotta love taste differences!!! AWESOME!

I am going to pick some of these up to try just as soon as the local store gets some! I gotta see for myself!

Mike

For the store - yes he should carry them, IF he could purchase LOW quantities of them just in case they dont sell. Hell, I can find almost everything for cheaper online! I mean, where can you buy a box of Nub Cammie 460's for under $70, online with a coupon code is the correct answer ;) No b&m can compete with discounts like that, so they have to just be there for the people who want some singles to try, maybe before buying a box online, but at least he would get the singles sales.

@Bill,

Thanks for watching and for your feedback. CI is owned by Swedish Match, which has a 60% interest in General Cigars. They are owned by the same parent company, so there is a definite synergy there. And Altadis has a controlling interest in JR Cigars as well.

Great review, was it really 23 minutes long? Flew by for me. You were spot on with the review and with your takes on marketing for cigar companies. I hail you Sir! However I do not believe you are correct, when you say CI and JR are online marketing arms of General Cigars and Altadis.
They are separate companies and have buying power to effectively price B&M's out of the market but they are not subsidiaries of the cigar companies.
I will pay more in my local B&M for cigars I can get cheaper online. This is because I can't sit with friends, watch wide-screen and basically chill while shopping online.
Once again Great Job.
