A fiver of cigar stories from around the Web.

Reviews

Chief Hava posted a recount of an epic battle between two double ligero bombs, the CAO Lx2 and the La Flor Dominicana Chisel over at his blog, Smoke Signals. Chief is one funny dude, and he gives you some great info.

The agents at The Cigar Spy had a busy week. Agent 6 finished his Los Blancos mission by reviewing the Los Blancos Sumatra Corona. Agent 15, the king spy, had the enviable task of smoking the Cohiba Lancero Habano from pre-1982.

Spirits

Patrick A from The Stogie Guys reviewed Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon. I look forward to trying this reasonably priced from the makers of Blanton’s and Eagle Rare bourbon.

Contests

Cigar Command has a St. Patrick’s Day contest where you can win a great prize pack: five Rocky Patel Decades and a Rocky Patel table lighter, courtesy of Duque Cigars.

Thanks for all the links for other reviews around the web.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon is top notch – definitely worth a try.

I really like the battle format. Pretty neat.

I actually bought some Buffalo trace base on Doc’s pod cast and it is very nice. Especially when you factor in price.

btmisles – if you like Buffalo Trace, try some Michter’s Small Batch Bourbon. Actually anything from Michter’s is great – runs about $25-$35 a bottle if you can find it in your liquor stores.
Another inexpensive whisky but very tasty is Clontarf Irish Whisky; about $20.
Enjoy . . .

CWS – Thanks! I will definately look into both of those.
