Camacho Connecticut Monarca
Today I’m taking Camacho’s entrant into the world of milder bodied smokes for a spin. The Camacho Connecticut is a great looking stick that according to Camacho is “A spicy yet milder mannered Connecticut wrapped cigar with superb balance and signature Camacho body.†Camacho released this cigar to answer consumer requests for a milder, tamer stick compared to the rest of the Camacho lineup. Lets see if this stick lives up to Camacho’s description.

Very consistent in terms of taste – went great with some coffee in the morning.
I wasn’t overwhelmed, but I wasn’t looking to be overwhelmed either. Overall I think it’s a good, solid cigar*
*Taste is always subjective
Nice review! I’m not usually a fan of Connecticut cigars, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about these Camacho Connecticut’s. It’s that touch of spice and medium-body that really intrigues me…I’m going to have to give these a go! Thanks for sharing.
Smoking this right now, and I have to say that I really like the little extra kick it has for a mild connecticut. The draw is a little loose, but from what my local B&M owner tells me, this is normal for Camacho. Your comment “not my favorite connecticut” made me think….it might me an interesting subsection of the site to see what all of the reviewers favorites are in the different classes of cigars. Something to think about, maybe?
I had a few of these before (thanx Jerry) and i thought they were decent, but not my favorite Connie either ;)
It wasnt BAD, just maybe threw me off due to the stronger style of it?
