Emilio Cigars AF2

A couple weeks ago Ben reviewed the Emilio Cigars Grimalkin. Today I’m firing up the AF2 which is another offering from Emilio cigars. The two samples I smoked for this review were provided to me by Gary Griffith, owner of Deleware Cigars and Emilio Cigars Brand Developer.

Name: AF2
Company: Emilio Cigars

Filler: Nicaraguan & Pennsylvanian Ligero
Comes in: Box of 20

Final Thoughts

I was completely surprised by the Emilio AF2. Great construction and flavor provided an excellent smoking experience. I’d classify the AF2 as full-bodied, balanced and full flavored. The cigars starts off with a hefty punch of black pepper which quickly mellowed to reveal a mesh of coffee and dark chocolate notes. As I smoked deeper into the cigar I began to pick up on a earthy note as well that seemed to balance out the sweetness provided by the coffee. The cigar ended much like it began with a blast of black pepper.

I’d thoroughly recommend giving the Emilio AF2 a try. I can see multiple 5 packs in my future.
