Gran Habano Corojo No. 5 Robusto

Today Chris and Brian have a review on the road. As we take a trip to Richmond for a Rocky Patel Event, we decided to record a “mobile” review for you. Today we are smoking the Gran Habano Corojo No. 5 Robusto. Chris covers all of the particulars in the video so let’s get right to it and see how this stick performs and if we make to our destination in one piece.

That was a cool review :) I have had 1 or 2 of these and found them to be mediocre at best. I will not go out of my way to get any more, there are too many good smokes out there right now that I tend to like more.

Hope you had fun at the Rocky Patel event!

Burn Issues?? Your smoking it in the CAR… What do you expect?.. You should sit down, relax and smoke this GEM again rather then just squeezing it in on a 20 minute car ride… Keep the variables the same…

Interesting review, especially the format. I really like the 3 Siglo. So I guess I’ll have to give one of these a try.

Thanks guys.

Cliff,

Thanks for the comment. Couple of things to consider: Chris had smoked multples of this smoke (as we usually do) in gearing up for this review. So there were no surprises with these particular sticks. (And I was also very clear that I didn’t have any major issues.) Also, we had well over an hour to smoke this cigar so there was no rushing it. We are just looking for different ways to bring content. Different environments, different scenarios, etc. I would like to offer more than the talking head videos that we see everywhere, everyday.

Again thanks for the comment and we greaty appreciate the feedback.

Like a lot of other cigars, size does matter. I like the larger ring sizes in the # 5 and also the 3 Siglos line. The larger ring sizes are much more flavorful and I don’t encounter the burn issues that I get especially with the churchill sizes.

Good honest reviews.

I enjoy your approach and how you relate to us on your videos.
