Jesus Fuego Origen
The latest creation from J Fuego, the Origen, is currently a limited production cigar. However, the information I was able to find indicates this cigar will eventually be a full production line. Much of the blend is proprietary, but I can say that the wrapper is Corojo No. 1 and the filler is a secret blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Costa Rican tobacco. I’ve had great luck in the past with J Fuego products, so let me set fire to this sample, and we’ll see if the streak continues.
This video runs almost 12 minutes, but I was in a talking mood. I also made mention of our July Mr. Punch Says… contest, while playing show and tell with one of the Grand Prizes.

Charlie…nice to meet you yesterday…my comment is not on the J. Fuego, since I’ve not tried it, but on you on “What’s your favorite beverage/drink with a cigar”..Man, you missed one serious beverage…which would have been my vote: Coffee, whether, esperesso,, latte,, cuban,,, or regular Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks…coffee and cigars are the bomb. Nice site…keep goin’
Chris,
Nice review. I just picked one of these up yesterday from a local shop for around $8.75. I was going to light it up last night but didnt get a chance to. I hope to get to it today.
Luv the choice of song for this review. Great Song!!
About the cigar. I completely agree with your review. I have been lucky enough to buy a box of the belicoso and the toro. Jesus has a winner with this one. Instead of kicking his ass, I want to buy him a drink and wish him a long life!! Also quite fond of the Delirium.
I would love to contact Mr. Fuego. What has he done to the greatset cigar I ever smoked. His Gran Reserva Corojo No. 1 has changed wrappers. Why? It was a reddish-brown wrapper smooth as can be. Now it’s I believe a maduro wrapper or close to it. I bought a box and returned them. He ruined an absolutely PERFECT cigar.
It may be too complicated and very far-reaching for me. I am awaiting for your the other essay, and I like to try to receive it! Practically the write-up is spreading its wings promptly, looking for it…
Hey Chris,
another great review, bro! I don’t believe I’ve ever had a J. Fuego cigar, but the flavour profile on the Origen sounds like it would be right up my alley! Keep up the great work.
