La Flor Dominicana Limitado IV
La Flor Dominicana puts out a Limitado cigar yearly and each version is met with much enthusiasm. This version, IV, comes in at 6 1/4 x 52 and sports an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper ( I mistakingly say its a Nicaraguan Oscuro in the video). This cigar is released in a limited a number of 2000 boxes of 48 cigars each. So, how does this cigar stack up to other limited cigar and especially its brothers like my beloved Double Ligero 660 Maduro? Watch the video and find out.

Ben glad you enjoyed your cigar day at the shop. and thanks for all the shout outs for the store. i agree with you about this cigar. i too love LFD, in fact all of their lines are excellent. the new air bender is also excellent and i can’t wait til our order comes in which will include your dl 660 but also the dl 600 and 700 (my pick). great review and i get a little more spice and pepper on my palate but we are all different. look forward to seeing you back at the store. again great job. Billy
Congrats on The MS degree. What is your major? I love the La Flor Dominicana cigar’s. I will try to get one for the July four.
I got my Masters degree in Information Assurance/Computer Security.
Billy,
I will try the 700 Thursday night at the shop. I got pepper, but it was much more in the beginning of the cigar and fade at the middle.
Thanks for the review. LFD’s are always good but I now make sure not to try one on an empty stomach.
LFD is one of the greatest cigar companies out there. If anyone has tried the Cabinet Cameroon 6.5 by 44, this cigar is great and so is the Chisel Maduro. The DL Lancero is a good stick to. This company is very respectable and they stand by their product. It doesn’t get much better than them.
I picked one of these up at the Cigar Shop a little while back and I agree completely. I’m a huge fan of most of Litto’s cigars and this is no exception.
My palate picked up a bit more pepper on the front end and more earth on the back end but I too found that coffee flavor to be delicious. I had a couple minor burn issues but didn’t care at all b/c of how good the cigar was.
Great review but an even better cigar.
