La Sirena The Prince

Released this year at IPCPR in New Orleans, La Sirena was relatively unknown before the show.  I met Brand Manager, Arielle Ditkowich, at the Miami Cigars booth while talking to Nestor Miranda.  There was a buzz at the show about Arielle’s new cigar line so I was eager to try it.  Alas, I left there without trying a sample, but luckily, Jason Wood of Miami Cigars sent two of them to me to review.  This cigar was blended for Arielle and Miami Cigars by Don Pepin Garcia.  So, was the buzz worthy of the cigar?  Does it sink or swim?  Watch the video and find out.

Very thorough review. I picked up a few of the Tridents a month or so ago and have only smoked one to date. I noticed the same indescribable notes at the beginning. Your comparison to the dark chocolate was right on. The recent weather in Richmond hasn’t been too conducive to spend any significant time on the back deck, but I’ll update this post if there are any noticeable differences when I get through another stick.

Great review Ben, Its a cool 3D backdrop sheet. I’m looking forward to try out this La Sirena The Prince cigar. If I can find them at my B&M shop….

Thanks for the review Ben! That huge band is definitely the first thing I noticed but it sounds like a fairly tasty cigar and right up my alley… usually hard to go wrong with most DPG cigars though.
