Liga Privada Unico Serie Dirty Rat

The Liga Privada line from Drew Estates has been one of the most successful cigar lines in what I’m calling the new cigar boom.  It all started with the No. 9 and then followed by the amazing T52 stalk cured cigar.  Steve Saka, the creator of the Liga Privada line, decided to come out with another line extention to the Liga Privada called the Unicos line.  I recorded a great interview with Steve at IPCPR this year that you can watch where he gives us the full back ground to this new line and this cigar.  The Dirty Rat is the first in this new line.  This cigar, a 5 x 44 corona, almost didn’t make it past the prototyping stage because it was cost prohibitive.  Luckily, Drew Estates figure out a way to get it to market.  So, how does this cigar stack up to its big brothers?  Watch the video and find out.

Thank you for sharing! The Drew Estate cigars are good quality, but we’ve found them to be a little polarizing… love ’em or hate ’em, there’s not much in between.

A great review Ben, What will you choosing Dirty Rat or AVO Heritage? If you have to choose one cigar? I smoked AVO Heritage last week. It is a good cigar and price…

Great review Ben. I seemed to have missed your interview with Steve so I’ll have to page back and find it.

I haven’t smoked the one you gave me, but I think it may be time to.

Tbese cigars are out of this world. A little pricey for the vitola. But worth any penny. If they keep these available for long, they’ll soon become a classic = check out my review on http://www.reviewcigars.blogspot.com

Go out and smoke one. Forget the price. These are well wotth it and stack up to the Padron Anniversary series and any Tatuaje out there…….
