Poll: What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a single cigar?

We’ve all done it. Spent an amount we’re so embarrassed of on one stick we desperately try to keep our significant others, parents, and maybe even our fellow brothers and sister of the leaf from discovering it. Our question today is:

What is the most you've ever spent on a single cigar?

  • $25.00 and up (42%, 8 Votes)
  • $20.01 - $25.00 (32%, 6 Votes)
  • $10.01 - $15.00 (16%, 3 Votes)
  • $15.01 - $20.00 (11%, 2 Votes)
  • $5.01 - $10.00 (0%, 0 Votes)
  • $0.01 - $5.00 (0%, 0 Votes)

If you’re brave enough, fess up to what the cigar was and how much you spent on it in the comments.

Seems like the poll doesn’t really work?
I’ve spent over 20 euros on a Cohiba Genios, that was the most I think.

@Cigar Inspector
Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the poll.

The two most expensive cigars I’ve ever bought were both Padróns. I spent $32 plus tax on a Padrón 80th Anniversary and $25 plus tax on a Padrón Family Reserve.

About $30.00 for Padron 80th.

Well, first off I’ve recently(in the last 15 years)lived in Washington state, Alaska and California. Each of those stares are in the top 5 of the Highest Tobacco taxes levied states. So, You needed two levels up on Your poll!
Not counting shipping, I think that I paid $60 bucks for an early Fuente Chili Pepper. I still have not smoked it. I did buy another C. Pepper last year ($29) and smoked that one. It was good, but You don’t buy those for flavor really. They are collectors items.

Also anyone whom has participated in the Fuente “Smoke Across America” Spends $50 bucks for two cigars.

Let the argument rage as to wheather any cigar is worth that.

As a rule……I do not buy what I cannot afford.

Cheers!
