Roberto Cigars Blend Selection: Samples 4-6

We’re back with the next episode in our Roberto Cigars full bodied blend search. If you haven’t already, check out #’s 1-3 here as well as our reviews of Roberto’s Standard (Mild) Blend and his Robust (Medium) Blend. Today we have for you samples 4-6. So let’s see how these three blends compare to our first three.

**Spoiler Alert**
If you would prefer to watch the video prior to seeing my results then watch now before you read on any further. If you are sick of my ugly mug, then you can just continue on with your reading.

Sample #4:
Body (1-5): 2.5
Fullness of Flavor (1-5): 2.5
Balance (1-5): 4

Overall impressions: A mild to medium smoke with an awesome woody flavor with a great spice throughout. A roasted peanut flavor tied the whole thing together. Very enjoyable smoke but not quite as full as we are looking for.

Sample #5:
Body (1-5): 3.5
Fullness of Flavor (1-5): 3
Balance (1-5): 3

Overall impressions: A medium to full bodied smoke that started out rough. Started out bitter but changed quickly to a nice earthy base. This cigar progressed and changed nicely throughout. If we were looking at complexity, this is probably the most complex of the bunch. Spice ramped up throughout and went very well with that earthiness.

Sample #6:
Body (1-5): 3.5
Fullness of Flavor (1-5): 3
Balance (1-5): 3.5

Overall impressions: Another great smoke. Getting more in that full bodied realm. This cigar had that similar woodiness to it that many of Bob’s cigars tend to have and mingled well with a nice pepper spice on the palate. Would like the flavors to be a bit more rich but this stick was still very good and very smooth.
