Viaje Oro Edicion Limitada
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from everyone at NiceTightAsh.com!
Today, I’m reviewing the Viaje Oro Edicion Limitada. This cigar is an extension of the Viaje Oro line. Its a special size called the double torpedo and was release with a double torpedo in the Platino line as well:
- Oro  (5 1/4″ x 52)
- Platino (6″ x 50)
So, how does this new size compare to the rest of the line? Is this another pot of gold for Viaje? Watch the video and find out.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
– tradition Irish blessing
PS – Don’t forget about our March Contest!
PSS – I’m also holding a small contest for St. Paddy’s day. Whoever post the best limerick wins a five pack from me.

Hmmmm, nice review – I’ve never heard of these. Sound decent though
My Limerick
St Patty’s Day is full of cheer
An excuse for cigars and green beer
You’ll get drunk and horny
Be hungover next morning
And hear about your mistakes til’ next year!
I could use me a five-pack! Fun idea!
Ye olde traditional:
There was a young plumber of Leigh
Who was plumbing a maid by the sea.
Squealed the maid, “Cease your plumbing,
I hear someone coming!”
Groaned the plumber, still plumbing, “It’s me!”
And my ‘gar limerick for the day:
Sigmund Freud, peering up in zee sky,
Saw an object, cigar-shaped, up high.
As he buffed up his specs
He thought, “Scheiss, I need zex,”
Little knowing what probing was nigh…
Heh.
There once were some lads named ASH
Who’s humidors had a great stash
They smoked for the love
And blogged with a passion
Because a good cigar never goes out of fashion
May your years be long
May your draws be strong
May you forever enjoy the stogies!
“Quit cigars” his physicians would say,
“you’ll die young at a dozen a day.”
George smoked them, I’m told,
till one hundred years old,
while his doctors all passed away!
I love this one.
Thanks for the review Ben. Yet, another in the long list of roasts to try. Interesting how important the date is to you. Living in Hawaii I don’t know too many individuals of Irish descent. It’s cool that you have those ties to your lineage though.
A patty day limerick for you
While I watch your review
A toast to your drink
A roast let me think
Ah the pleasure of two
Thanks for the informative & entertaining review, Ben! I also enjoyed some Guinness Draught yesterday. I haven’t had a Viaje yet, but I will definitely on the lookout for some!
Here, mild tweak:
Sigmund Freud, squinting up in zee sky,
Swore an object, cigar-shaped, he spied.
Then, buffing his specs,
Thought, “Scheiss, I need zex,”
Little knowing what probing was nigh…
Another review and another line of cigars that I need to get around to trying…if I ever find them, that is. I’ve never seen Viaje cigars in either region of the country that I’ve lived.
Thanks for the review! I’ll have to look this up. I’ve tried a Viaje just not this one.
Since I’m not a very good writer I’m not going to even try a limerick.
Nice review Ben, looks like an interesting cigar. I wish I could get my hands on some. Loved the green flame on your lighter. Keep on smoking.
Ben Lee unevenly lights his cigar
That big bastard should just be in a bar
A Shot of a Jameson he sucks it back
The way he lit that cigar gave me a damn heart attack
Puff and puff and puff away
Nothing Beats a Nice Tight Ash is what they say
Love you Ben that fucken hat was crazy awesome!
Ha! Came back to read some other entries, and the vid caught my eye:
The pic of the bottle of Guinness made my mouth water — no, LITERALLY made my mouth water.
Drunk? Or a man of good taste… one wonders.
Great review, I’ve not heard of this Viaje Oro cigar. I will try ASAP…. Thanks
