CAO Brazilia Gol

Coming at you from Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati, OH, I have my brother in-law in tow at a CAO event where we are reviewing the CAO Brazilia Gol. The event at Jungle Jim’s was a great time with some great deals on CAO stuff. We bought a box of La Traviata and received a great freebie package from Miguel (CAO’s Regional Rep) and Chris from Jungle Jim’s. I highly suggest anyone in the Cincinnati area check out these events at Jungle Jim’s. They have one almost every Thursday and they more than make it worth your time.

As for the cigar…Until the La Traviata, the Brazilia had been my favorite of CAO’s offerings. The 56 ring gauge fat robusto is full bodied and full flavored and makes for a very nice smoking experience. (I know I said 50-52 in the video which is asinine as I am holding this fat ass cigar in my hand at the time but as usual I wasn’t thinking.) Anyway, let’s see if this stick holds up to previous samples that have burned before me and we’ll see how Brent does in his Nice Tight Ash debut.

Nice review! If only we would have a shop that big around here! Maybe Nice Tight Ash can put up the funds for me to open one =)

I never had the Gol size, but the other Brazilias I have had were pretty good. A bit too powerful for my wussy ass, but a nice change of pace smoke to keep in the humi – I have one in there right now :)

Mike

Mike-LOL. Sounds like a great idea although I think if we had the funds we would open a shop down here. Maybe when we expand you can be a franchisee and open one up in your neck of the woods ;)

I have always liked the Brazilia and this one was exceptionally good for some reason. I don’t doubt that the atmosphere had something to do with it.

Nice review! Your brother-in-law seems to have a good palate and nice taste for a fine cigar atmosphere! I would like to see more of his opinion on cigars to highlight the common peoples tobacco flavor!

Late reply but I tried these out after the review… thanks the Gol was good!

I’ve enjoyed the Brazilias for awhile – I even won a box at a B&M grand opening – and it wasn’t until much later that I found out that they are in the medium-strength range. Until then, I thought I was “stuck” in the mild-to-medium range. So thank you once again, CAO, for expanding my cigar palate!
