Cubao No. 3
I’m back with another Lancero this week. Today we have EO Brand’s Cubao No. 3, which weighs in at 7.5” x 38. This blend is the brainchild of Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega with the help of Don Pepin Garcia. According to EO/United Tobacco’s website the Cubao is manufactured in Estelí, Nicaragua and is comprised of an exquisite blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos topped with a beautifully rich and oily Ecuador Sumatra Oscuro wrapper. The Lanceros come in a box of 30 and retail for around $180. Let’s see how this stick does on the heels of the Oliva Serie V and El Triunfador that I have reviewed recently.

Mike, Thanks. Actually had you in mind when I was talking about people who dont usually care for the heavy spice but might like this one. I don’t think it is over the top at all except for that initial blast especially if you minimize your retrohale.
I currently use a DV camcorder w/windows XP and Pinnacle Studio Plus.
The Cubao line is fantastic – does start with the blast, but fades nicely into a smooth cigar. I typically favor medium body cigars and I would say this fits neatly into this category.
Heard there could a maduro coming out soon . . .

Another nice review!
Seems a bit too strong for my profile, but I might grab 1 or 2 to try – Like Charlie or Chris told me (I always get you 2 confused :p ) I wont know if I like it till I try it myself!
Mike
P.S. – what webcam are you using? on the Apple laptop?
