Custom Rolled Cuban Cigar

I recently got a custom rolled cigar using cuban tobacco from a friend of mine, @brooktrouttn, to see what I thought of the cigar. He actually sent me two and this is the first of the batch, torpedo. I judge the cigar to be about 6 1/2″ to 6 1/4″ and about a 50 ring gauge. Next week, I will do the other cigar and give me impressions on that. How did this cigar do? Watch the video and find out.

The U.S. really needs to get over this Cuban embargo thing. It hasn’t worked since the entire rest of the planet does business with Cuba. Time to move on.

Sounds like a normal run of the mill smoke. I wonder what those puppies cost! If they are more than $5 or $6, they are overpriced.

I agree about the Cubans. I just have had SO many good cigars that we can obtain legally, I dont see the need to jump up and get anything else. I have had some Cubans, not many, but most i have smoked have been plugged and the flavors are not anywhere near as powerful as the local stuff. I may not have had the right Cubans, but thats my opinion on the matter ;)

Open trade up again and see how well they do – price wise they can not even come close to what we have here, unless the price drops dramatically when they are legal again.
