It’s been a while since we’ve had a contest here at Nice Tight Ash, and it’s definitely time to put an end to that! The nice people at Drew Estate are providing a great prize pack.
It’s getting to be the end of the year, and along with that comes top ten lists. But we don’t want to have all the fun. We want you to get in on it too. Just leave a comment with your top 10 list of 2009. It’s not necessarily cigars that were released this year. Just whatever cigars you think smoked best in 2009. Feel free to tell us what criteria you used – price, flavor, construction, etc. Just give us your top 10 list by Monday, December 28th at midnight. We’ll compile the results and reveal the Nice Tight Ash Reader’s Top 10 for 2009 on New Year’s Day.
For our Fall Contest we’re looking to you, our loyal readers and viewers, to participate in the fun and show your love of cigars. What do you have to do? Just submit a guest review for Nice Tight Ash! Requirements Your submission needs a couple of things: A minimum of 250 words A minimum of […]
For our July contest, we’ve got one hell of a contest. General Cigar Company is proud to sponsor our Nice Tight Ash and Mr. Punch Say… contest.

This review comes courtesy of our good friend Brian. We met Brian via Twitter, and found out he only lives about an hour away. We’ve had the opportunity to hang our a few times and enjoy some great cigars. So we were happy when he decided to give reviewing cigars a try, so […]
For our May Contest we want to have a little fun and have a few laughs. All you have to do is tell us a cigar joke as a comment to this post. There is no limitation to how many jokes you can tell (in total or per day), and it lasts for the whole month of may. Just make us laugh. The three of us will pick our favorite, and the winner will receive a great prize.
In the first part of the Nice Tight Ash Beginners’ Guide to Cigars we took a look at the various sizes and shapes cigars are made in. Today we’re examining what makes up a cigar.
Cruzado is a new line by Dion Giolito, maker of Illusione cigars, which was introduced this year in Las Vegas at IPCPR. The cigar has a wrapper of Nicaraguan criollo with a Nicaraguan and Honduran filler blend.
